New Notary Laws affecting all California Notaries
All California Notaries are required to employ these NEW LAWS for 2009 and 2008
This course covers all the NEW LAWS for both 2009 and 2008 and are presented
in a way that is easy to follow and understand. We have divided this review
training into two sections, one for 2009 laws effective January 1, 2009 and one
for 2008 laws effective January 1, 2008.
New legislation that went into effect January 1, 2009, make two relatively minor
changes to notary public law:
- It added a new form of acceptable identification, and
- Changed the way notarizations using a subscribing witness work.
New legislation in 2008 implemented very important revisions to the existing notary
laws. These new laws need to be understood and followed by all new notaries,
existing notaries and employers having notaries on staff.
Because the NEW LAWS are so extensive and important we are offering this opportunity
for specialized training by making use of our ONLINE course. It's Your Responsibility
to learn about these New Notary Laws that became effective as of January 1, 2008!
